DAUMET is very proud to be one of the first 500 solutions labelled by the Solar Impulse Foundation! Thanks to its innovative solutions, DAUMET is making a concrete contribution to using gold sparingly, to reduce the environmental impact of one of the world’s most polluting mining industries and to preserve the resources of this precious metal for future generations.
For 114 tons of gold saved per year with this solution, the impact on the environment is major:
- CO2 emissions reduced by 1.4 million tons per year
- water pollution reduced by 30% for jewellery activities
- 22.8 million tonnes of mining waste avoided
